EL Development acquired the site of Blossoms By The Park after submitting the highest bid for the site through a Government Land Sales in Septemeber 2021. The 99-year leasehold site, designated as Slim Barracks Rise (Parcel A), is one of 2 residential-cum-commercial sites at Slim Barracks Rise released by URA in June 2021.
Of the 2 plots, the site area of Slim Barracks Rise (Parcel A) is larger, with an area of 7,957 square metres. The land plot is also closer to the MRT stations and allow higher building heights to be constructed on it. The smaller site, which is designated as Slim Barracks Rise (Parcel B), has an area of 5,973 square metres.
EL Development’s bid of $320.1 million for Slim Barracks Rise (Parcel A) was just 1.27% higher than the 2nd highest bid of $316.1 million by Guo Xiuhua, one of the owners of Kingsford Development. Incidentally, Guo Xiuhua had also bidded for Slim Barracks Rise (Parcel B) and emerged as the top bidder.
Kingsford Developmentwill develop the site at Slim Barracks Rise (Parcel B) into a mixed-use development consisting of 142 residential apartments and 1 commercial lot. The new 99-year leasehold project will be named The Hill @One-North.
Blossoms By The Park comprises of a single 27-Storey tower which will house 275 residential apartments and 1 commercial lot.
The commercial lot consists of 4 commercial units. All the commercial units are approved for F&B usage. They are located on Basement 1, Level 1 and Level 2 of the mixed-use development.
As the 4 commercial units are part of a single commercial lot, purchasers who are interested in acquiring the commercial units would have to buy all four units as a single strata lot.
The typical units of the one-north condo will start on the 3rd floor to the 26th floor, with the penthouses being situated on the top level of 27th floor.
